Ian Hogg

CEO Australia & Asia Pacific

Ian Hogg

Ian Hogg joined FMA as CEO in November 2009 and was elevated to his current role in August 2011.

Ian has worked for 25 years in the television industry, within TV networks and independent production companies in Australia and Asia.

Ian began his career in production and programming at Channel Ten. He has had key roles at NZTV3, Becker Group and founded Theatre Red Pte in Singapore.

Before joining FremantleMedia, Ian was with MGM Worldwide, and in an advisory role with Prime Media Group.

Jo Porter

Director of Drama

Jo Porter

Jo Porter joined FremantleMedia Australia in January 2012 in the newly created position of Director of Drama. 

In 1997, she joined the Seven Network in-house drama department where she produced five drama series, including All Saints, Always Greener and Packed to the Rafters. These series were ratings and critical hits. In 2013 Jo launched Wentworth and Wonderland with great success, and is currently overseeing a huge slate of local drama in pre-production.

CAROLINE SPENCER

Caroline was promoted to the role of Director of Development in October 2013. Spencer leads the development process for new entertainment and reality formats as well as adapting international formats for the Australian market. Prior to this appointment Caroline had great success as an Executive Producer with FMA on programs such as MasterChefThe Farmer Wants A Wife and Recipe To Riches. Caroline has been with FMA since 2008.

Simon Rabbitt

Chief Operating Officer

Simon Rabbitt

Simon joined FMA in the role of Finance Director in 2008. In 2011 Simon was seconded to Fremantle’s London Head Office where he worked in the Corporate Centre across multiple business units. In October 2011 he was promoted to Finance Director Australia and Asia Pacific where he now oversees Fremantle’s finance functions across Australia, Singapore, India, Indonesia and China. In 2013, he became Chief Operating Officer.

Simon previously worked as the Finance Director for Granada/ITV Productions and as a commercial analyst for BBC Worldwide in the UK.

Paul Ridley

Senior Executive Vice President, Distribution & Home Entertainment, Asia Pacific

Paul Ridley

Paul has been in the television industry his entire career in both New Zealand and Australia, and has been at FremantleMedia since 2002. He has been instrumental in securing third party content for the International Division including local successful dramas Satisfaction and Winners and LosersHe worked at TVNZ for 18 years before helping to create four pay TV networks for XYZ Entertainment in Sydney. He was Head of Television for Becker Entertainment before being offered the role of CEO for thecomedychannel. He joined FremantleMedia in the role of VP Sales Australia and NZ before his current role.

Steve Rosser

Director of Commercial & Legal Affairs

Steve Rosser

Steve Rosser has more than 20 years’ experience in legal and business roles in the film, television and music industry in the UK and Australia. He has spent the past 12 years with FMA.   

In January 2007 Steve became FMA’s Director of Legal and Business. This role was expanded to include Asia Pacific in March 2012.

Steve has previously held executive positions at Artist Services and Red Heart Productions.

Jonathon Summerhayes

Director of Programming

Jonathon Summerhayes

Jonathon has enjoyed critical and popular success as an Executive Producer with FMA since joining the company on 2006, most recently with The X Factor. With Jonathon at the helm, The X Factor has had four consecutive years of ratings growth. Prior to The X Factor, Jonathon was Executive Producer of The Biggest Loser and Co-Executive Producer of MasterChef. Jonathon has been with FMA for almost a decade.

Zara Curtis

General Manager Brand Partnerships, Digital, Licensing & Spring

Zara Curtis

With more than 19 years in commercial sales, marketing and content creation across multiple platforms, Zara Curtis heads up FremantleMedia's branded content and cost effective broadcast format creation division, Spring, and the Brand Partnerships division. She was appointed to this role in June, 2012. Zara previously held senior executive roles at News Life Media and ACP Magazines/Nine Entertainment Group, and marketing roles at Clarins and Estee Lauder UK.

Tiffany Nicholl

Director of HR & Facilities

Tiffany Nicholl

Tiffany has been a HR professional for over 20 years, having worked across media, telecommunications, manufacturing and FMCG.

Her specialities include Organisational Development, Change Management, Learning and Development and Performance Management. Tiffany was appointed FMA Director of HR and Facilities in September 2010, working across both strategic and operational activities. Her previous employees include Ardex, DMG Worldwide and inter-touch Pty Ltd.
