At FMA we have four core company values that ensure we are a hotbed of creative energy and set the bar high for the industry. We call them our ‘Four C’s’ – Creative, Collaborative, Commercial and Confident. Everything we do, we do with these words in mind. Put simply, our values mean we are constantly striving to excel.
We’re pretty proud of ourselves for creating a culture of team players. As you gather around our coffee machines, you’ll notice FMA is full of friendly and supportive staff. We have a very active social committee, staff screenings of our hit shows, Lunch-and-Learn sessions where you can find out what other people do in our company, Christmas and special occasion events, a cheese and wine platter every Friday, plus a fridge fully stocked with some of our favourite tipples. And there’s nothing quite like a barbeque on our rooftop.
We know you want to work hard, and we get that you’re very focused. But everyone needs some time out every now and then, and that’s why we encourage our staff to participate in weekly yoga classes. For those who want to burn calories, we have a regular fitness training program during lunch. We also have training and development opportunities and an employee recognition program.
CORPORATE AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Giving back to the community is an important part of our culture and we love to get involved with a number of charities. Through our unique partnership with the Sony Foundation, we offer our staff a number of volunteer opportunities. Whether it’s feeding the homeless, giving inspiring career talks for disadvantaged youth followed by an on-set visit to our shows, to staff donating food and clothing items or their old mobile phones, we work with the Sony Foundation to help make the world a better place one step at a time. Our staff also volunteer at a number of fundraising events and we hold raffles with all donations going back to the various charities the Sony Foundation supports.
